Logo Designs For JFresh Design

These are the logs I did for my company JFresh Design which will be up and running in the near future. I did this in Illustrator with some crazy fonts. Hope you like

Pose to Pose Animation

So this is one the 12 principles of Animation, its pose to pose. I did a super hero Pose to it, basically spider man jumping off a building and falling down kicking someone body.

Wind-Up Toy Bender (Futurama)

The program I used for this was Maya. This took me about two hours to do. It was very fun. Bender consisted of basically all cylinders. All I had to do was really extrude the geometry and scale it it then smooth it out. My modeling skills are becoming great as my time progresses.

Apocalyptic Chicago w/ Textures

This was for my final project for Game Design 2, we had to use everything we learned from the class. I went all ouyt for this project even using stuff that we didint learn in the class to get the perfect scene that was in my head. I used the burn tool alot, created some brushed for fog, dirt, grass, and rust. I picked a sky that looked like it was burning. I tore apart some of the building and ended up with something great.

Day to Night

In this assignment we had to change it from day to night. First step I went about doing was to clean the plate which means getting anything you don't want out of your scene. Then i gave it some color adjustments messing with curves, levels, and brightness and contrast. After this I went into the channel box and selection one of the option red , green, and blue. The one that had more contrast I chose which was blue. Then started to painted out the silhouette which was going to be the layer mask. After this i equipped the layer mask to one of my layers. I inverted the selection and deleted the sky. In which I added my own sky which has a night time feel for it and eerie kind of moon. Then after this I started giving it photo filter and a color fill to get the night scene just right. Then I added a detail of a river to give it an creative edge so it doesn't look so boring. I added detail to the stream to get it blend right with the ground, painting the edges a mixture of gray and blue, then giving the blending option to overlay so it looked just right. Then the final step I added fog. This was a pretty fun project, I do see my improvement in  Photoshop. .This project also gave me some new skills for advance selection that I could of used in earlier projects.

Neptune Explosion

In this project I used Photoshop again. To get the background i used different layers, and used a different color with each one the used a radial blur to get the effect of a cosmic glow. In each layer I used a blending option of a Overlay so it would come out more crisp. The to make it a little darker I used a soft brush and turned down the opacity and went over it in a couple layers. To get the explosion of the b planet it was a combination of a radial blur, polar positioning the image, and also using a wind style toward it. To get the god rays coming out of the planet, I used a whitish/yellowish brush the use a blending option of scatter. This was a great project with a lot of tools used in it.

Brick Wall Textures

The program I used for this was Photoshop. I used a photo of a brick wall, then I used the off set tool to make it smoother to use as a texture. The image size was 2048x2048 300 dpi. After the offset I used a couple custom brushes I created a blood splatter brush and a dirt brush. I used the dirt brush to dirty up the wall a little, then i used the burn tool and turned down the opacity of the tool and went across the wall. Then I used the blood splatter tool to make it have an effect like people were murdered on the wall, My idea came from Spartacus: Blood and Sands. Then I put them into a Specular Map, Diffuse Map, and a Normal Map. The used Crazy Bump to get the textures to come out in 3D. What I realized when doing textures is you have to take your time,

Z Brush Work

This is some of my Zbrush Work. The insect head was all was all in my imagination no reference image used. This took about two hours to do. This was for a class that I took on my free time, I think it turned out real well. The second one is Martian the Man-hunter from the Justice League. I took a reference image of him, but only did the head to start of with, later in time i will do the whole body. I will practice and practice harder and harder each day to get better at this program.
